As well as writing “Web Design in easy steps”, I’m a freelance web designer with nearly a decade of experience.
I’ve worked for a wide range of people from one man bands to multinational companies.
What I try to do with all my clients, however, is to focus on the needs of their business above all else. After all, it’s no good spending thousands of pounds on a beautiful site if it doesn’t make your business any money or bring in any new business.
The price I charge varies, depending on the project, but I offer packages for small businesses starting from £1000 ($2000) for a 5-10 page website with a content management system (so you can update the site yourself).
For corporate work and training, my rate is £100/hr ($200/hr).
I’ve always prided myself on having a broad range of skills. Among the things I can do are:
